• Health status:  Undergoing heartworm treatment

• About:  Angel has been rescued from a life on a chain. She had had few litters of puppies in her short life. Upon her rescue, she was emaciated, had ear and eyes infection, mange, and was very much underweight. She also tested heartworm positive. In two short months she gained much needed weight, her infections were treated, and her skin issues went away also. She is now beautiful and shiny:) Angel still has some recovery to do as she is undergoing the heartworm treatment. The name Angel suits her a lot as she really is the sweetest, most gentle dog you would ever meet. She gets along with everyone and truly loves being a part of a family. She is a very easy dog who just wants to be loved.
